When you register on IgnouPass, we collect your name, email address, and academic details such as your enrolled programme and semester. When you make a payment, transaction details are processed by Razorpay — we do not store your card or banking information on our servers.
We use your information to provide and improve our services, personalise your study experience, send you important updates about your account or exam schedules, and process payments. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
IgnouPass uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse usage patterns so we can improve the platform. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly as a result.
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted cloud servers. We implement industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Razorpay (payments) and Google (authentication). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
